Reflexology can:
Reduce feelings of stress and anxiety

Improve blood and lymph circulation
Encourage the elimination of toxins
Rebalance the body’s systems to work efficiently
Following your treatment you should:
Rest as much as possible
Avoid strenuous activity
Take care when driving and operating machinery
Avoid caffeine, alcohol and smoking
Drink plenty of water
The following are all possible reactions following treatment:
Feeling tired Spot breakouts
Feeling energised Altered sleep patterns
Feeling emotional Heavier menstrual flow
Feeling uplifted Non-specific aches and pains
Increase in urination and bowel movements
Occasionally you may experience symptoms or emotions that are unwanted. This is known as a ‘healing response’ and is temporary. The symptoms should last no longer than 24-48 hours. Such symptoms may include headache, nausea, lethargy and feeling over-emotional. However, anything that is prolonged or severe will not be caused by Reflexology and you should consult your GP as you normally would.
