A letter of consent* from your GP or consultant would be required if you have:
abnormal blood pressure that is NOT controlled by medication
a history of stroke
cancer or have in the past
a nervous system disorder (MS, Parkinson’s, Motor Neurone, for example)
diabetes and take oral medication or insulin
any nervous/psychotic conditions

GP consent may also be required if you fall into the clinically vulnerable (moderate risk). The NHS outlines these groups. Click here.
*IMPORTANT - The letter of consent should be on letter-headed paper from the practice and be signed and stamped. Before requesting a letter please contact me and I can then prepare a letter for you to take to the GP explaining the treatment and the effects on the body.
